JET A-1 is an aviation fuel formerly known as “Kerosene” which is suitable for most jet aircrafts. It meets stringent international requirements, particularly those of the latest versions of the AFQRJOS, the British DEF STAN 91-91 standard, the ASTM D1655 standard, and the NATO F-35 specification. JET A-1 is the main fuel used for jet turbine engines. It is also used in general aviation for compatible diesel engine planes.
Decreasing the fuel load, JET A-1 increases flight autonomy thanks to its enormous heat output and its high resistance to the cold. It avoids crystallization, the issue aircrafts can suffer from at high altitudes. It has thermal and storage stability, which prevents deterioration of both engine and fuel.
Due to the fact that it is a mixture of various hydrocarbons, it is impossible to define jet fuel as a ratio of specific hydrocarbons since the exact composition of jet fuel differs widely based on the source of the petroleum. Jet fuel is therefore defined as a performance specification rather than a chemical compound.
Having a robust network, we are able to provide JET A-1 fuel for China, Russia, Japan, India and the UAE to Europe, Asia and Africa.
